Garrett T. Farrell

Police Officer Garrett Farrell, assigned to the 14th District, along with his partner, was chasing a thief who had stolen a woman’s purse, and fled into the woods at Wayne Avenue and Price Street. Upon the officers’ arrival into the wooded area, Officer Farrell was shot and killed. He was 25 years-old and served with the Department for 3 years.
