Daniel Gleason

Police Officer Gleason, assigned to the 25th District, along with his partner, was responding to investigate a report of a disturbance in the 1300 block of West Sedgely Street, at 9:30am. While they were approaching two suspects on the scene, one offender turned to Officer Gleason, and immediately began firing his gun, shooting and killing him. He was 38 years-old, served in the Department for 15 years, and is survived by his wife and six children.
