Richard Lendell

Police Officer Lendell, assigned to the K-9 unit, suffered a heart attack in his patrol vehicle, after assisting in dispersing a large disturbance at Limekiln Pike and Walnut Lane at 11:45pm. As a result of the heart attack, his patrol jeep crashed into parked cars at 72nd Street and Ogontz Avenue. Officer Lendell was 42 years-old and served with the Department for 15 years.
