Robert P. Smith

Police Officer Robert Smith, assigned to the 23rd District, suffered a heart attack after pursuing and apprehending a knife-wielding offender who had been threatening parents at Gesu Elementary School at 18th and Stiles Streets. Officer Smith was 50 years-old and served with the Department for 20 years.
