Karl F. Kohler

Police Officer Kohler, assigned to the 7th and Carpenter Streets station, was driving an injured child to the hospital following a traffic accident when his vehicle collided with another car at the intersection of 9th and Spruce Streets on August 8, 1943. He succumbed to his injuries four days later. He was 32 years-old and served with the Department for 1 year.
