Ronald Trumbette

Police Officer Trumbette, assigned to the 3rd District, was responding to a silent burglary alarm at the New York Extract Company, 918 S. 5th Street at 2:35am. Upon arrival, the suspect, who was hiding in the rafters overhead, jumped down on Officer Trumbette, seized the Officer’s weapon, and shot and killed him. Officer Trumbette was 25 years-old and served with the Department for 4 years.
