William J. Kelleher

Sergeant Kelleher, assigned as an instructor at the Police Academy, was en route from Police Headquarters to the Police Academy when his motorcycle struck a city sanitation truck at State Road and Ashburner Street at 7:38am. He suffered critical injuries as a result of the accident. Sergeant Kelleher was 32 years-old and served with the Department for 8 years.
