John M. McEntee, Jr.

Police Officer McEntee, assigned to the 22nd District, was shot and killed inside of his patrol vehicle at Woodstock and Norris Streets at approximately 10:05pm, when two suspects approached his vehicle from opposite sides. Officer McEntee was questioning the men, when one of the offenders fired a gun at Officer McEntee, striking and killing him. He was 24 years-old, and served with the Department for 1 year.
