Frank R. Von Colln

Sergeant Von Colln, assigned to the Cobbs Creek Park Headquarters at Cobbs Creek Parkway and Catherine Street, was shot and killed inside of the guard house at approximately 8:30pm. The offender subsequently shot another police officer who was returning his patrol wagon to the station before fleeing. He was 43 years-old and served with the Department for 17 years.
