Harry L. Davis

Police Officer Davis, assigned to the 17th District, was responding to a robbery-in-progress call inside of a local bar at 23rd and Christian Streets, on March 8, 1970 at approximately 1:45am. As Officer Davis entered the front of the bar, the suspect immediately shot and severely wounded him. He succumbed to his injuries nearly a month later. He was 34 years-old, and served with the Department for 4 years.
